Like any mum to be you worry about if you have enough things, or if you haven’t got the right things. I found that i bought a lot of stuff when in fact you probably wont even touch half of those little baby lotions you bought just because they look nice. I always thought ‘everything is going to be neutral and wooden’ but that soon goes out of the window when you realise that babies need a lot of colour stimulation and so my living room now looks like a rainbow style cresh! As i’m writing this i’m feeling bright eyes and bushy tailed, do you know why? since 6am this morning Felix has been snuggled into his mummy or daddy in bed, giving all three of us a lie in till 9:30am! can i get a high five?
This month i have decided to set myself a challenge of a no spend October, and for me that really is a challenge! It’s going to be hard but it’s doable. And it will likely save me a ton of money! Not only will i save a heap of money but, by going cold turkey, i can see where my money leaks are and just how little i can actually survive on.
